(Squaw Valley, CA) Tahoe area locals and visitors looking for current weather, events, activities, and resort conditions this winter can simply turn on their TV and watch Tahoe TV’s new daily program, Get Out! Reno-Tahoe, available every morning and evening starting November 1st on Charter and Suddenlink cable systems around Lake Tahoe and in Reno and Carson City.
new program, hailed as “the daily dashboard for Tahoe living,”
is designed to provide critical information people need, when they
need it, to help plan their day and evening activities. Tahoe TV’s
unique format features a multi-zone screen with continuous weather
conditions, forecasts, and live webcams on the screen. Programming
includes live custom local weather, radar and webcams every five minutes,
updated recreation and ski conditions every 15 minutes, event and
entertainment details, and a variety of entertaining and informative
video segments covering area events, community news, people, businesses,
and things to see and do around the region.
Brandt and his team are actively developing a variety of video segments and content to be featured on the network, including daily snow reports from the region’s ski resorts, weekly event coverage, live music features, and a local dining show.
“Our goal is to be a valuable resource that people around the region can use on a regular basis,” says Brandt. “We provide timely content that’s relevant to the unique Tahoe area lifestyle that we all share – for everyone from parents getting ready each morning, to commuters, skiers, and visitors.”
Beginning November 1, Get Out! Tahoe will air daily from 6am – 9am and 7-7:30pm on Charter Cable’s Local Action Channels - Channel 14 on the North Shore, Channel 15 on the South Shore, Channel 3 in Reno, and Channel 18 in Carson City, Minden, and Gardnerville and from 6-9am and 4-7pm on Suddenlink Cable Channel 66 in Truckee and down the West Shore.
